We’re thrilled to announce the Verified User badge, a special way to shine in our community and show everyone you’re a trusted member of KinkySydney! Whether you’re here to connect, share, or explore, this badge helps you stand out and build trust.
Why Get a Verified User Badge? The Verified User badge is a shiny icon displayed on your forum profile and posts, letting everyone know you’ve been officially verified by our team. Here’s why it’s awesome:
- Build Trust: Show other members you’re a genuine part of our community, making it easier to connect and engage.
- Stand Out: Your badge makes your profile and posts pop, highlighting your commitment to KinkySydney.
- Boost Credibility: Whether you’re sharing tips, joining discussions, or posting in groups, the badge adds authenticity to your contributions.
- Safer Community: Verification helps us keep KinkySydney a safe and respectful space by ensuring members are who they say they are.
- Exclusive Perks: Verified Users may unlock access to special forum areas, events, or features as we grow our community (stay tuned!).
How to Request Your Verified User Badge
Getting verified is straightforward, but you must complete both steps below to be considered. Here’s how:
Step 1: Check Eligibility
To apply for the Verified User badge, you must:
- Have a registered account on KinkySydney.com for more than 14 days.
- Have completed your KinkySydney profile (e.g., added a bio and required fields).

Have made or replied to at least 10 forum and/or Group posts
Step 2: Submit Your Verification Request
- Click the 'Request Verification' button on your profile
- Send a private message to @kinkysydney with the subject line: “Verified User Badge Request – [Your Username]”. Your message must include:
- Your KinkySydney Username to help us match your request to your account.
- Two clear selfie-style original photos:
- The photos must show you holding a handwritten sign that says “KinkySydney”.
- For Couples: If you’re presenting as a ‘Couple’ on the site, both individuals must appear in the same photo together, each holding a sign that says “KinkySydney”. Separate photos are not acceptable.
- Photo Authenticity: We use AI detection tools to confirm the authenticity of your photos, ensuring they’re genuine and not altered.
Important Privacy Note: Once your verification is approved by our Admin team, your submitted photos will be permanently deleted to protect your privacy.
What Happens Next?
- Our Admin team will review your request generally within 3-5 business days (or sooner)
- We’ll verify your username and photos to ensure they meet our standards.
- If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email or private message, and the Verified User badge will be added to your forum profile and posts.
- If your request is incomplete (e.g., missing photos or username), we’ll let you know what’s needed to proceed.
Note: If you don’t complete both Step 1 and Step 2 above, your request for verification will not be actioned.
Tips for a Smooth Verification Process
- Clear Photos: Ensure your photos are well-lit and the “KinkySydney” sign is readable.
- Complete Profile: A fully filled-out profile speeds up the process.
- Follow Guidelines: Adhere to our Community Guidelines to maintain your verified status.

We reserve the right to withdraw your Verified User badge if you violate our Community Guidelines (#), engage in inappropriate behaviour, provide false or misleading information during verification, or fail to maintain an active and respectful presence in the community.
